A replacement starts with complete removal of the old roofing. That also gives a first look at the decking underneath, which cannot be judged from the surface. Once the roof is bare, the decking is assessed, and sagging or weakened areas can be addressed as part of the project instead of being covered over.
When repair is enough
Not every problem needs a new roof. If the damage is limited to one area, a repair may be all you need, and we will tell you so.
